Each incense holder is made of Dehua white porcelain, also known as Blanc de Chine. The artist designed the moulds for each piece of the holder and assembles and finishes each piece by hand before firing them at 1300C.
This piece was designed by Chen Feng-Ji, a young porcelain artist who has already won a number of awards for his work. The artist has a studio in Dehua China.
