This raw / sheng pu'er tea was picked in Spring 2020 in TianTang Shan (Heaven Mountain) National Forest 天堂山国有林 in Baoshan Prefecture in Yunnan, China. The tea trees are between 200-300 years old and are described as "transitional" 过渡型品种 exhibiting traits of both cultivated and wild tea trees.
The aroma is spicy and long lasting. The flavour is balanced and strong with a long finish and a very noticeable aftertaste.
The tea was stone pressed by hand.
